Tours: 2:00 pm every Sunday from mid-February to mid-December, with a different topic each week. The tours
take place at various heritage cemeteries in the Capital Regional District with the majority of the tours at
Ross Bay Cemetery. The full tour schedule for the year is on our website. Check there for any changes
during the year. Donations for the tours are $2.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members; fee to be
paid by cash or e-transfer. All monies raised are used to assist in the preservation of the cemeteries.
Membership: Single $30/year. Family (two or more family members in the same household): $45/year.
Student: $20/year. Membership fees include a discount on the weekly tours, an annual subscription to
"Stone Cuttings" the bimonthly newsletter, as well as advance notification of tours, lectures and
other activities.
Promotes interest in local history and appreciation of the heritage value of cemeteries through tours
for the general public and school children, combats cemetery vandalism through education, does
historical research, monument restoration, cleaning and conservation in heritage cemeteries in the
Victoria region. Donations are gratefully accepted; the Old Cemeteries Society is a registered charitable
organization and will issue an income tax receipt for donations over $10.00.

Welcome to the Parliament Buildings, home to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia where elected
representatives - called Members of the Legislative Assembly or MLAs - meet to shape the future of the province
by debating and passing the laws that govern British Columbia.
Free guided tours and self-guided tours are available on weekdays, year-round. During the busy summer season
(Victoria Day to Labour Day) the Parliament Buildings are open for guided tours seven days a week. Guided tours
are free and last approximately 40 minutes.
Visitors are also welcome to visit the Gift Shop or to enjoy a meal in the Parliamentary Dining Room.
